Vietnamese National Economics University Explores Collaborative Opportunities with Saxion University of Applied Sciences from the Netherlands

On the morning of November 9, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of the National Economics University, hosted a meeting and discussions with the Delegation from Saxion University of Applied Sciences (the Netherlands) regarding collaborative opportunities and educational programs.

Among the attendees at the working session were Mr. Janco Bonnink, Director of Training & Student Support, and International Office Director at Saxion University of Applied Sciences; Mr. Sander Reinderink, Head of the International Finance and Business Institute; Mr. Hendrick Jagger, Deputy Head of the International Finance and Business Institute, and Director of the International Business Program.

From the National Economics University, notable participants included Associate Professor Dr. Ho Dinh Bao, Head of the Personnel Organization Department; Dr. Vu Van Ngoc, Head of the Advanced Training and High-Quality Education Institute, and POHE; Dr. Pham Sy Long, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department; Associate Professor Dr. Dinh The Hung, Deputy Head of the Accounting and Auditing Institute; Dr. Dao Minh Ngoc, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Hotel Department; Dr. Tran Phuoc Huy, Head of the Office of the Banking and Finance Institute.

Addressing the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of the National Economics University, mentioned that the collaborative training programs between the two institutions have attracted significant attention from students and parents. Therefore, the National Economics University looks forward to maintaining and enhancing cooperation with Saxion University to elevate the educational quality of the university.

Following this, Mr. Janco Bonnink, Director of Training & Student Support, expressed Saxion University’s high appreciation for the solid development of the National Economics University. He emphasized that this foundation will be pivotal for both institutions to strengthen opportunities for student exchanges, faculty exchanges, joint degree programs, as well as international research projects and training programs.

After the meeting with the university’s leadership, the delegation from Saxion University continued discussions with the School of Advanced Education Programs regarding training programs and support for students in the application process and during their study period in the Netherlands.
